I am a UX lead on the News and Trending team on Search where we organize high-quality journalism, social content, and authoritative information to help people better understand the world. My work covers the Top Stories block across all its footprints (desktop and mobile web, iOS and Android apps) and News Mode.

April 2018 to March 2019

Interaction designer on Google Workspace team (Gmail, Docs, Drive, Meet, etc). I developed design systems to ensure a unified user experience across Google's enterprise products.

Vox Media

Senior Product Designer  |  January 2016 to March 2018

I was a senior designer responsible for Vox Media’s flagship content management platform and design system powering 350+ websites. I created new storytelling formats and templates that could be adapted for multiple editorial brands, and also served as the lead designer on Vox Media’s first R&D team.

Viget

UX Design Apprentice  |  June to August 2015

As Viget's first full-time UX design apprentice, I created consumer journey maps, conducted user research, and gained experience working in a full-service digital agency.

I wrote features, profiles, and a weekly column, as well as a cover story interviewing Maya Angelou for the inaugural issue of WSJ’s luxury real estate section. I won an award from the National Association of Real Estate Editors for Best Home and Design Feature.
